Hola, I'm
Luis Carlos Guzman
As a coffee farmer in the municipality of Guadalupe, located in the verdant region of Alto Betania, I have dedicated my life to the art of cultivating coffee. My passion for coffee was inherited from my parents, and it is at our family farm, El Diviso, where my love for coffee has truly blossomed. For the past 15 years, I have been tirelessly working to perfect my craft, focusing on the production of specialty coffee. Throughout this journey, I have saved diligently to buy my own land, where I could sow the seeds of my dreams. Eventually, I was able to achieve this goal, and began planting my own coffee trees. My dedication to the art paid off when I entered a competition to find the best cup of specialty coffee. I am proud to say that I placed second at the departmental level. El Diviso spans five hectares and is home to 15,000 coffee trees. Here, I cultivate a variety of coffee plants, including Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo, at an altitude of 1,800 meters. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my wife, as together we have nurtured our two children and built a thriving coffee farm. Coffee has been the lifeblood of our family, providing us with the means to prosper. This is why I am so committed to the care and cultivation of my trees, treating them with love and ensuring that every step in the process is meticulously managed. With each and every bean, I pour my heart and soul into creating a product that reflects the essence of our family's love for coffee and the land that sustains us.
