Hola, I'm
Elmer Restrepo
I was just 17 years old when I began my journey into coffee, working on my grandfather's coffee farm. This firsthand experience ignited my passion for coffee production, and I realized how crucial it was globally. Eager to contribute more to the industry, I began as an intermediary for private coffee exporting buyers before becoming a coffee producer myself. Today, I'm the sole proprietor of Finca Chambaku and Jardin in Chinchiná, Caldas, Colombia. Coffee culture is deeply important to me, which inspired me to explore new coffee varieties and innovative processing methods. My team and I introduced natural, honey, and fruit fermentation processes to enrich the quality and flavors of our coffees. Committed to sustainable practices, I always strive to use a high percentage of organic and compostable fertilization to nurture the health of our soil. Now, my farm boasts about 280-300 coffee trees for our production.
