Hola, I'm

Francy Elena Osorio

I always love to learn and work, and always wanted to become independent.

I was born and raised in the countryside, my dad was a coffee farmer all his life, and thanks to this, my childhood was spent washing coffee, bringing food to the workers in the field, coordinating and checking harvests, weighing, and learning about all this beautiful work. My dad, seeing that we were children but also relied on us for fieldwork, tried to make it dynamic so that the learning came from love. I always really liked to learn and work, and as I grew up, I wanted to become independent and have my own coffee plants, with my dad's help, I achieved it. I proposed that he let me manage his farm, and so the payment would be having my own coffee plantation. Over time, I became known in the neighborhood as a woman recognized for my dedication and my love for work, thanks to this I ended up being the leader of our women's association, in which today we are 23 women working and growing together. After seeing myself so involved, I wanted to continue learning, which is why I now also have a title as a taster. I deeply appreciate my dad's teaching, as from a young age he gave me the tools to be who I am now. My farm is located at a starting height of 1700 and ends at 2000 meters above sea level, to date I have one hundred thousand coffee trees planted, my farm is called Las Pavas and is in the La Punta neighborhood, I have there Colombia and Caturra varieties.

Thank you for your support.
