Colombia is located near the equatorial zone. Our country has three great imposing mountain ranges with spectacular views no matter where you look. These mountain ranges favor the existence of microclimates; Although highly variable, these are characterized by their abundant light during the day, intermittent rains, and very uniform average temperatures (that vary between 18 ° C and 22.5 ° C.).

 

The Colombian coffee zone is located on the slopes of the mountain ranges, which cross the country from south to north. Following the northern latitude, it's located on the tropic of cancer and covers from 1 ° to 10 ° between an altitude range of 1,000 and 2,000 meters above sea level, thus complementing the air and soil conditions, it becomes exceptionally favorable for these types of crops.

All coffee is Arabica, including Typica, Bourbon, Tabi, Caturra, Colombia, Maragogipe, Castillo, among many others that are cultivated to a lesser extent. There are either one or two harvests a year, depending on the region.
