About us

Progeny Coffee was co-founded by Maria Palacio, a fifth-generation Colombian coffee farmer, and her husband, John Trabelsi, with the mission to transform the coffee industry by uplifting farmers out of poverty. By cutting out middlemen and offering full transparency from bean to cup, Progeny ensures that farmers receive fair compensation for their hard work. Beyond delivering exceptional coffee, the company is dedicated to sustainability, education, and creating a positive impact on both farming communities and coffee lovers.

We believe that passion and attitude are paramount. No prior barista experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed. What matters most is your enthusiasm for coffee, dedication to exceptional customer service, and a proactive, innovative mindset.

What You’ll Do‍

• Engage with Customers: Welcome every guest with warmth and genuine interest, ensuring they have a memorable experience.

• Craft Quality Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks with care and consistency (training provided).

• Maintain Store Ambiance: Ensure the café remains clean, organized, and inviting.

• Collaborate and Innovate: Work with the team to brainstorm and implement new ideas to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.

• Stay Curious: Continuously seek knowledge about our products, the stories behind them, and the communities we support.
